Spring
Oh my gosh, it is BEAUTIFUL outside today! I went to Target and bought a hammock for the backyard :) I was going to post a bit more, but it will have to wait until tonight!

Door Security
When my door was kicked down, I started doing research on ways to prevent that from happening again. Found a site that sells a 5 foot long strikeplate that you drill into the wall stud (vs just the doorjam). Because there is only an inch of soft wood securing your door, it's very easy to kick in.
Also, people in East Atlanta got a break in on video. 2 kicks was all it took:
YouTube Video You don't think about how easy it is to kick in a door until you see it.
If you are interested in buying the more secure strikeplate, I have a yellow button in my favorites on the right side of my blog. It's about $100 and ships in 2-3 days. I put on my front door and got another for the garage door since they open in.

Sad News
I know I've been slacking. My house was broken into last week so I've been dealing with insurance and picking out a new front door.
I'm also in IL this week and next. The client's year end is 9/30 so I'm in another busy season.

Needles
I've heard a lot of talk about the Denise Interchangeable Needles over the past year. Mostly on Ravelry. Sorry Denise, Addy stole my heart.
In the Knitch Fall Newsletter, they wrote about these.
Yes, I am in love and I must acquire them at any cost. I don't have interchangeable needles but I think they will be very benificial.
